Get ready to move it, move it! Join Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, Gloria the Hippo, and those hilarious plotting penguins as they escape from New York’s Central Park Zoo and set off on a wild adventure to Madagascar. This musical is packed with fun roles, catchy songs, and plenty of laughs for everyone.
Everyone who auditions will be cast!
All experience levels are welcome—whether you’re new to the stage or a returning performer.
Key Details:
- Who Can Audition: Ages 9–14 (Middle Group)
- Audition Process:
- Group dance taught at audition
- Optional solo singing for those interested in lead roles
- No preparation required for ensemble roles
- Wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes (no sandals or heels)
- Rehearsals:
- Times provided after casting (Saturdays)
- Performance Dates:
- May 1-3 (Blue Cast)
- May 8-10 (Purple Cast)
Tuition & Financial Aid:
- Tuition: $105/month
- Sibling Discounts: 2nd child 20% off, 3rd child 80% off, 4th+ free
- Financial Assistance: Available upon request
Special Notes for Students in Other Casts:
Lion King Blue Cast: Your director can release you 30 minutes early so you can audition.
Finding Nemo KIDS Cast: Let the directors know you’re in both shows. You’ll be auditioned first so you can make your 9:30 rehearsal.
Important: On your audition form, please list any other Spotlight casts you’re in. This helps us assign you to the right audition and rehearsal slots!
