Foibles and Folly, penned by Michelle R. Davis, is a lighthearted comedy that follows the story of the eccentric tenants living in a dilapidated apartment building called Distinctive Manor. The plot unfolds as the three McGowans—a scatterbrained scientist, his equally peculiar scientist brother, and his critical teenage daughter, Amanda—move in and encounter the colorful residents. These include a British man walking an imaginary dog, a movie star wannabe mailing fan letters to herself, and an opera singer sporting an inner tube around her waist. When the tenants receive an unexpected eviction notice, they must band together to overcome this challenge and, in the process, learn valuable lessons about acceptance and community. The play promises to charm audiences with its endearing characters and gentle message.
