🎄 Auditions Announced: Dickens’ A Christmas Carol (Dinner Show) — ALL NEW!
The Spotlight Playhouse is excited to announce auditions for our ALL-NEW version of Dickens’ A Christmas Carol — written and directed by Mr. Chad Hembree. This is a dinner show, and we’re creating a fresh take on the classic story while keeping all the heart and holiday magic that makes Christmas Carol a tradition.

Tuesday, October 13, 2026 — 7:30 PM
📍 The Spotlight Playhouse (Berea)
🎭 What to Expect at Auditions
- Cold readings from the script
- Acting out scenes
- A nice list of characters will be available
- We’re adding some music, so there will be an optional singing audition (we’re not calling it a full musical, but it will be musical)
- Only one dance scene
🗓 Rehearsal Schedule (Tuesdays & Thursdays Evenings)
Rehearsals will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
Important note for families with younger actors:
- Children will only be held 1 hour: 7:30–8:30 PM
- Teens & adults will rehearse until: 9:00 PM
- We do not expect rehearsals to go past 9:00 PM, unless it’s a few individuals staying to work on something prearranged.
